PARITY

ZAO – This is a story where humans start to become puppets for technology and we could use our own automatic behaviours, reflexes, and responses on ourselves to become more productive.

Parity, a fictional pioneering biotech company, from the year 2050, where the research and development department’s pride and joy is their humano-digital integration. ZAO speculates products that allow users to offload petabytes of their biological memory onto their digital consciousness, and utilise wasted energy from emetic and sneezing reflexes by converting them into power for the Parity system.
Performed out as a developers conference to provide a platform to explore the day-to-day impact technologies have and how the technological explosion of devices is slowly transforming the body.

November 2018.
